  1. Heat Main St Bistro® Signature Mashed Potatoes per package instructions
  2. In mixing bowl, combine black pepper, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, and frozen medley along with ½ cup of the potatoes and mix thoroughly.
  3. Shape beef mixture into four 6 oz patties pressed to ½” thickness.
  4. In a pan big enough to hold all four patties, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium high heat. Cook the patties for 3 minutes on each side until dark brown on both sides.
  5. Remove the pan from heat and rest for 3 minutes. Place the patties on an oven proof tray
  6. Scoop and distribute remaining potatoes on top of each patty and spread evenly over each patty.
  7. Place under a broiler for 2-3 minutes or until the potatoes are golden on top. With a meat thermometer, make sure the internal temperature reaches 165F.
  8. Remove tray from the oven and rest 2-3 minutes.
  9. *Optional*: Serve with Reser’s Homestyle Gravy
