Ingredients

  • 10-12lb turkey, thawed, and at room temperature
  • 1 stick unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 bunch fresh sage, minced
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • (1) Main St Bistro® Baked Scalloped Potatoes

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425F.
  2. Pat turkey dry and remove neck and giblets. Place turkey breast side up in a roasting pan.
  3. Combine softened butter, minced sage, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper in a bowl. Mix well, until combined.
  4. Rub butter mixture over the turkey, over and under the skin. Ensure the butter is evenly spread over the turkey.
  5. Roast for 30 minutes, then reduce oven temperature to 325F and roast for 2 1/2 hours, or until the internal temperature of the breast reaches 160-165F.
  6. Let turkey stand 15 minutes before carving. Serve with Main St Bistro® Baked Scalloped Potatoes.
