Enjoy this quick, creamy and comforting dish.


  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1 lb sirloin steak thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 2 cloves of garlic minced
  • 1 lb Bella mushrooms sliced
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp sour cream
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ¼ black pepper
  • 1 tbsp chives chopped for garnish
  • (1) 24 oz. package Main St Bistro® Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes


  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over high heat. 
  2. Add steak to the skillet and quickly spread with a tong. 
  3. Cook the steak until brown, about 2 minutes on each side. 
  4. Remove steak from the heat and set aside.
  5. Turn heat to medium high and add butter in the same skillet. 
  6. Add onion and cook for 3 minutes until translucent.
  7. Add mushrooms and garlic and continue to sauté for another 5- 7 minutes.
  8. Sprinkle with flour and deglaze the skillet with beef broth. 
  9. Add heavy cream, mustard, sour cream and Worcestershire sauce. 
  10. Season with salt and black pepper.
  11. Let the sauce simmer until it thickens.
  12. Bring back the steak and let it simmer for another minute. 
  13. Serve over Main St Bistro Mashed Potatoes and sprinkle with fresh chives. Enjoy!
