No oil, no problem delicious fried chicken


  • 4 lb chicken thighs (about 6 thighs)
  • 2 lb chicken drumsticks
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon rosemary
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  • (1) Main St Bistro® Signature Macaroni & Cheese


  1. In a large bowl, combine chicken thighs, drumsticks, and buttermilk. Cover and let sit for 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat oven to 400F.
  3. Remove chicken from buttermilk and pat dry. Set up three bowls: one with whisked eggs, one with flour, and one with panko breadcrumbs, salt, garlic powder, black pepper, rosemary, and thyme.
  4. Coat chicken in flour, then dip into egg, then dredge in the panko mixture.
  5. Place chicken on a lined baking sheet. Repeat until all chicken is coated.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes, until golden brown. Let sit for 10 minutes, then serve with Main St Bistro® Signature Macaroni and Cheese.
