Ingredients

  • 4 boneless pork chops
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • Fresh herbs, for serving
  • (1) 24 oz. package Main St Bistro® Signature Mashed Potatoes

Instructions

  1.  Pat pork chops dry. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat a cast iron skillet over medium high heat. Add olive oil and pork chops and cook 4 minutes per side, until golden brown. Remove pork chops from the pan.
  3. Add olive oil and mushrooms to the same pan. Cook until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add garlic, salt, black pepper, and flour. Stir well.
  5. Add butter, chicken stock, and heavy cream. Stir well and reduce heat to low. Add pork chops back to the skillet. Simmer for 5 minutes, until the pork is cooked through and the sauce is thickened.
  6. Heat Main St Bistro® Signature Mashed Potatoes via package instructions.
  7. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve.
